What's going on Wednesday?

Modern Baseball at Irving Plaza
Modern Baseball at Irving Plaza in June (more by Mimi Hong)

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Bon Iver, Andy Fitzpatrick @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
Bon Iver’s 10′-show NYC-area run in support of this year’s experimental, heavily electronic 22, A Million wraps up tonight.

Modern Baseball, Basement, Citizen, Turnover, Mewithoutyou, Alex G, Elvis Depressedly, Teen Suicide, Nicole Dollanganger, Crying, Nothing, Pinegrove, Petal @ Webster Hall
Run For Cover has emerged as one of the most consistently awesome indie rock labels, and most of their roster (plus some extended family) plays the big ‘Something in the Way’ fest in NYC tonight. It takes place in all three rooms of Webster Hall. Click the link above for set times.

Shobaleader One (Squarepusher), Corey King @ Le Poisson Rouge
Squarepusher spent most of his career as a solo electronic artist imitating the sounds of a live band, and now he’s leading an actual live band, Shobaleader One. They make their NYC debut tonight.

Earthless, Ruby the Hatchet, Geezer @ Saint Vitus
San Diego space rockers Earthless and retro riffers Ruby the Hatchet wrap up their two-night stand in NYC tonight.

Mirah, Public Speaking, Riios, Meaner Pencil @ C’mon Everybody
The great alt-singer/songwriter Mirah headlines this show for a good cause. It’s a benefit for New Alternatives for Homeless LGBT Youth.

Louis CK @ Madison Square Garden
Louis CK has had an interesting year, dropping acclaimed series Horace & Pete on an unsuspecting world, while touring constantly. This is his first of two MSG shows this week.

Honduras, Stuyedeyed, Navy Gangs, Retail @ Baby’s All Right
Honduras bring a lot of different influences to the table. A little garage, yes, but there’s ’80s/’90s British indie too. While it may not be anything you haven’t exactly heard before, Honduras write very hooky songs and, as importantly, the bring a real energy to the performance.

For laughs, check out the NYC Comedy calendar too.
