What's going on Wednesday?

The End of an Era at Webster Hall
Action Bronson @ Webster Hall (more by Amanda Hatfield)

You can browse our full NYC show calendar for all of tonight’s shows, but here are some highlights…

Action Bronson @ Rough Trade
Action Bronson released his latest LP, Blue Chips 7000, last week, which finds him in fine form. He celebrates the album at Rough Trade tonight. You had to buy the LP from the Rough Trade store to get in.

Phil Lesh & the Terrapin Family Band w/ Nicki Bluhm & Melvin Seals @ Central Park SummerStage
Fresh off playing Lockn’ with the Terrapin Family Band and Nicki Bluhm, the Grateful Dead’s Phil Lesh brings that same lineup to Central Park SummerStage tonight. He’ll also be joined by Jerry Garcia Band member Melvin Seals at this special show, which will have one set of Dead music and one set of JGB music.

Fishbone @ Rocks Off Concert Cruises
One of the first — and best — groups to hybridize punk, funk and ska, Fishbone are still a whole lot of fun live. As they’re playing their great album Truth & Soul at Riot Fest in a couple weeks…maybe you can expect a few more songs from that one than usual tonight.

Dale Watson @ Hill Country
Dale Watson is often called “Austin’s answer to Johnny Cash,“ an apt comparison as he’s got a deep resonant voice, honky-tonk sound, and an abundance of truck-drivin’ songs.

Ilana Glazer and friends @ Littlefield (2 shows)
The new season of Broad City starts in September and Ilana Glazer has been getting the word out lately, hosting a bunch of her “…And Friends” shows. There are two of them tonight which are both, unsurprisingly, sold out.

The Juice Comedy Variety Show @ Union Pool
Hosted by Carmen Christopher and Connor O’Malley (Late Night w/ Seth Meyers), tonight’s edition of The Juice features onetime SNL castmember Sasheer Zamata, the awkward stylings of Joe Pera, Ashley Brooke Roberts, Jaboukie Young-White
