Which Belly is playing the festival you’re going to?

Belly Vs Belly
Belly Vs Belly

Coachella, Governors Ball and Boston Calling all announced their lineups this week, and Belly is on all three. But question is WHICH Belly — the Palestinian-Canadian hip hop artist who has collabed with The Weeknd and Ginuwine, or Tanya Donelly’s reunited ’90s alt-rock band who are set to release their first new album in over two decades this year? To quote the rock band Belly, “if you are about to ask… its probably not us. it must be the Canadian hip hop feller.” In the case of Coachella and GovBall, that’s correct. But at Boston Calling it’s the “Feed the Tree” band who are, in this case, hometown heroes.

Update: Tanya Donelly tells us Boston Calling is the ONLY festival they’re playing this year.

As more festivals get announced the confusion may increase, but so far those shows are the only dates for either Belly. If you’re still confused, acquaint yourself with both, below.
