Great Lake Swimmers and more playing free Canada Day party in Brooklyn

Canada is celebrating its 150th birthday this year and for Canada Day (July 1), The Well in Brooklyn is throwing a free party featuring Canadian music, food and drinks. The outdoor stage is headlined by White Lung, and features Mobina Galore and Castlefield. The indoor stage is headlined by Operators and also features Kasador and Common Dear.

UPDATE: White Lung have had to pull out of the show, and indie folk act Great Lake Swimmers replace them.

UPDATE 2: Operators are also not playing now. bummer.

Brooklyn’s Canadian food restaurant, Mile End Deli, will be serving poutine and other treats, and there will be over 150 different brands of Canadian whiskey on offer, and over 40 Canadian craft beers available, not to mention Bloody Caesars. RSVP via Facebook and the flyer is below.
