looks like a sick post to jam, huh?

Williamsburg is getting new condos with a "jam room" for musicians

We can all rejoice because Williamsburg is getting more condos soon, but not just any condos. Curbed points to a new NY Times profile on the condos — located at 184 Kent, a former packing/distributing center for food goods built in 1915 — that mentions there will be a “jam room” for musicians:

A soundproofed “jam room” for musicians and a screening room will be new amenities for the building, which already has a gym with views of the East River, a children’s playroom and a communal rooftop.

Great news for aspiring bands! Now as you’re paying six gazillion dollars a month to live in a hip Williamsburg condo, you won’t even need to rent a separate practice space! And they said Brooklyn is over.
