Willie Nelson, The Roots, Tom Morello, Steven Tyler, Brandon Flowers & more playing John Lennon tribute at MSG Theatre
John Lennon would have turned 75 this December, and that of course means many tribute concerts. We already mentioned one happening at Symphony Space with Bettye LaVette, Joseph Arthur and more, and now a much bigger one has been announced.
It happens December 5 at the Theater at MSG with Aloe Blacc, Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, Brandon Flowers, Peter Frampton, JUANES, Kris Kristofferson, Pat Monahan (of Train), Tom Morello, Willie Nelson, The Roots, Chris Stapleton, Steven Tyler and still more TBA. Tickets go on sale Tuesday (11/17) at 9 AM with a Chase presale starting today (11/13) at noon and a local presale starting Monday (11/16) at noon.
It will also be televised on AMC on December 19 at 9 PM EST.
