Conor Oberst is touring in support of his recent stripped-down solo album Ruminations, including a NYC show at Carnegie Hall on November 23rd with Simon Joyner. In related news, Dawes, who were Conor’s backing band in 2014, have announced a tour of their own. It’s an “Evening with Dawes” tour and will have them playing two sets a night. The dates include Shovels & Rope’s festival in South Carolina, Noise Pop fest, and a NYC show at Beacon Theater on March 10. Tickets for that show are on fan club presale now, they go on Ticketmaster/AmEx/Chase presales Thursday (11/17) at 11 AM, and on sale to the general public Friday (11/18) at 11 AM.
