Nasty Nigel of Queens rap collective World’s Fair is about to put out his first solo project, the El Utimo Playboy: La Vida Y Los Tiempos De Nigel Rubirosa EP. The rapper, who’s also featured on Wiki’s standout single “Livin’ With My Moms,” has released two songs off the EP so far. You can check out “Groundhog Day” and “Boone’s Farm” below.

Nigel’s celebrating with a release party in Queens this Saturday at Knockdown Center (52-19 Flushing Ave in Maspeth). It’s a stacked lineup, with hardcore band Sick Feeling and weirdo rapper Cities Aviv, plus Prince Samo and Deem Spencer. There will also be DJ sets by Le1f (who Nigel opened for earlier this year), True Panther Sound System, AHARAW, Ariana and special guests. It’s $5 at the door. Show flyer below.

World’s Fair also play The Meadows festival in Queens this October.

Sick Feeling will play Queens again on July 23 at the Low Tide Bar at the Beach 97th concession in Rockaway Beach with Unstoppable Death Machines. That show is the culmination of a bus tour, which begins at 2 PM that day in Forest Hills, home of the Ramones, and ends in (rock rock) Rockaway Beach. Tickets for the bus tour are available. The Sick Feeling show is free.

The bus tour is in conjunction with the Ramones exhibit at Queens Museum, which closes on July 31.
