Chicago’s Open Mike Eagle isn’t just a great rapper, he’s also a fan of wrestling. He appeared on the latest edition of the Culture Kings podcast with hosts Edgar and Jacquis, where they discussed favorite WWE matches, as well as top 5 albums that shaped their lives, Roseanne being cancelled, and more. Listen here. (He’s also a host of his own wrestling podcast Tights and Fights.)

Mike is also playing a kickoff concert for the 2018 WWE SummerSlam, which takes place at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center for its fourth consecutive year on August 19. His show is two days earlier at Brooklyn’s Elsewhere Zone One (8/17) with Mega Ran and TRØN & DVD opening. Tickets are on sale now.

The only other upcoming shows on Mike’s schedule are Portland’s Alberta Rose Theatre on Friday (6/1) which is part of “Live Wire with Luke Burbank” and also features comedian Paul F. Tompkins and Ijeoma Oluo; and an appearance at Pitchfork Festival in his hometown this July.

His latest album is 2017’s great Brick Body Kids Still Daydream, which you can stream below.
