Wye Oak and Braids brought their tour to NYC last night (5/7) for a show at Webster Hall. Braids opened, and played what sounded like a lot of new stuff. Then came Wye Oak, who split their set pretty evenly between this year’s guitar-less Shriek and its predecessor Civilian, plus included a cover of Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill” in the encore, which has been a regular occurrence on this tour. Pictures of both bands from the Webster Hall show are in this post.
