Yasiin Bey (fka Mos Def) adds more 'Black on Both Sides' 20th anniversary shows

Yasiin Bey has been celebrating the 20th anniversary of Black on Both Sides, his solo debut as Mos Def. He played Brooklyn Steel in October, and plays Sony Hall in NYC tonight. He recently added a few more Black on Both Sides shows, including Philadelphia’s The Ave Live on December 27 with his Black Star partner Talib Kweli, and then another Sony Hall show on December 29.

UPDATE: The 12/19 Sony Hall show got rescheduled for March 19 (tickets).

Meanwhile, Bey’s “Negus” installation at Brooklyn Museum runs thought January 26.
