Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The National, The Feelies, TV on the Radio & more made Velvet Underground playlists (listen)

The Velvet Underground Experience exhibition opens in NYC on October 10 and features photographs, portraits, films, videos, live concerts, a VR experience, and musical workshops. In anticipation of that the exhibition’s streaming partner, TIDAL, have gotten a bunch of cool artists to curate Velvet Underground playlists, including The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The National, TV on the Radio, Julian Casablancas, The Feelies’ Bill Million and Glenn Mercer, Dean Wareham (Luna, Galaxie 500), Steve Gunn, Robyn Hitchcock and more. The playlists are all TIDAL exclusives and you can check them out here.

Tickets for The Velvet Underground Experience, which runs October 10 – December 30, are on sale now.

The Feelies are playing a set of Velvet Underground songs (as well as a set of their own) at Jersey City’s White Eagle Hall on October 13 (tickets).
