Yeasayer announce new album & tour, share two new songs

Yeasayer Erotic Reruns

Yeasayer recently released the new song “I’ll Kiss You Tonight,” and they’re gearing up to preview more new music at some intimate shows this month, and now they’ve released two more singles and announced their new album and a lengthy tour. The new album is called Erotic Reruns, it was produced by the band in their home studios in Brooklyn and upstate New York, and due June 7 via their own Yeasayer Records (pre-order). The new singles are called “Let Me Listen In On You” and “Fluttering in the Floodlights.” Like “I’ll Kiss You Tonight,” “Fluttering in the Floodlights” sees Yeasayer going in a more synthpop direction than their last couple albums, while “Let Me Listen In On You” is fueled by a jangly acoustic guitar and has some Bowie/T. Rex vibes. Listen to all three singles below.

The intimate pre-release shows include a sold-out hometown show at Rough Trade NYC on April 17 with Shana Falana, and the newly-added tour dates include a larger hometown show at Webster Hall on July 13 with Steady Holiday. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (4/12) at 10 AM with an AmEx presale starting today (4/10) at noon. All dates are listed below.
