Yellow Ostrich @ Glasslands 12/8/2014
It was a double goodbye for Yellow Ostrich last night, as they said farewell to Glasslands, which is closing at the end of the month, and the show was also their last one as a band. Bittersweet, but a good time, with a packed crowd of fans. Tei Shi, who sings on Yellow Ostrich singer Alex Schaaf’s new project Human Heat, had an impressive opening set. The night opened with Norwegian Arms and pictures from the whole show are in this post.
Glasslands has three weeks left. They’ve added some new artwork on the walls for their final month, including an homage to their beloved cloud installation. Be sure to check it out if you’re there. Still no word on what they’ve got in store for New Year’s Eve, their final night in business.
