Yes touring w/ Moody Blues’ John Hodge, Carl Palmer’s ELP + Arthur Brown, more


Yes will headline “The Royal Affair Tour” which will feature a whole bunch of associated acts and other British prog rock vets, including Asia (with Steve Howe back in the lineup for a portion of the set), John Lodge of The Moody Blues, and Carl Palmer’s ELP Legacy with guest vocals by Arthur Brown (whose band The Crazy World of Arthur Brown counted Carl Palmer as a member in the ’60s). Yes drummer Alan White, who played on John Lennon’s Imagine, will also perform a tribute to the late Beatle at each show. You can watch a preview video for the tour below.

Dates of the tour include stops in the NYC area, Pittsburgh, Baltimore, Toronto, Nashville, Phoenix, Toronto, Providence and more. NYC-area shows happen at Long Island Community Hospital Amphitheater on June 14,  NJ’s PNC Bank Arts Center on June 16, Westchester County Center on June 20 and they also play Bethel Woods Center for The Arts on June 27. TIckets for all those shows, and most of the announced dates, go on sale Friday, April 5 with various presales starting Wednesday, April 5. All dates are listed below.

Meanwhile, Yes’ 1969 self-titled album is getting an all-analog vinyl reissue for Record Store Day 2019.
