Yung Miami of City Girls tells police her car was shot at while leaving studio (she's ok)

Yung Miami of rising rap duo City Girls (real name Caresha Brownlee) reportedly had her Mercedes G-Wagon shot at last night when she was leaving a studio in Miami around 1 AM. XXL points to a video where Yung Miami — who is reportedly seven months pregnant with producer Southside‘s child — explains to Southside with police present, “They just started shooting. They had their lights off so I never saw them like whoever it was they kept their lights off. I don’t know where they came from. It came from behind. The shots came from behind. They started from behind because when I got to the stop sign I was like ‘Oh shit somebody’s shootin.'” Celebrity news site The Neighborhood Talk posted video of Yung Miami explaining what happened in the aftermath of the events, and you can see that below.

This story is still developing. Stay tuned for any further updates.

UPDATE: A Miami-Dade police spokesman told The FADER, “We responded at 1 o’clock in the morning on a report of shots fired. Upon officer’s arrival, they observed a red Mercedes-Benz vehicle. The person known as Yung Miami was in the vehicle and was unharmed.”

This news comes just one week after Kodak Black released a freestyle from jail where he references the pregnant rapper and says “When I see her I’mma hit that bitch in her stomach.” Both Yung Miami and Southside fired back on social media.
