ZZ Top & Gov't Mule announce tour together, including Jones Beach

You already knew that ZZ Top were touring with Gregg Allman, and that Gregg’s former Allman Bros bandmate Warren Haynes’ band Gov’t Mule were also touring. Now the two bands announced a leg of dates together.

Both ZZ Top and Gov’t Mule previously had seperate NJ shows announced, but their run together includes a New York show at Jones Beach on September 9. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (5/20) at noon, with various presales beforehand at that same link. Updated dates are listed below.

Warren Haynes also plays as a member of Phil Lesh & Friends at their Memorial Day Weekend run (but not their Coney Island run), and he celebrates Jerry Garcia’s music on his Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration tour.

Gregg Allman also has his Laid Back Festivals, including the one at Jones Beach with Jason Isbell, America, Marshall Tucker Band, and more.
