CITY GIRLS – “JOBS”

City Girls released their new album City On Lock over the weekend (featuring Doja Cat, Lil Durk, Yo Gotti, and Lil Baby) and they put out a video for its single “Jobs.” It’s the duo’s first album since JT was released from prison in 2019.

MARLOWE (L’ORANGE & SOLEMN BRIGHAM) – “FUTURE POWER SOURCES”

Marlowe, the duo of underground hip hop producer L’Orange and rapper Solemn Brigham, arer releasing their new album Marlowe 2 on August 7 via Mello Music Group, and lead single “Future Power Sources” is a great dose of kinetic, psychedelic, alternative rap.

The Bronx Latin trap crew Sie7etr3 just put out two new songs, Chucky73 and ABG Neal’s “Mili” and YoungKilla73’s “KillaMood.” These guys are one of the most exciting new rap crews in New York right now, and these two songs prove they remain artists you should be keeping your eye on.

USHER – “I CRY”

Usher, who recently penned an op-ed urging Congress to declare Juneteenth a national holiday, has now released a new song inspired by everything going on in the world, with proceeds going to LISC, the Local Initiatives Support Corporation, “one of the nation’s largest nonprofits investing in underserved communities and communities of color.” Usher says, “While I was shut in during the Pandemic and watching the death of George Floyd, the ongoing slaughtering of Black men and women, the protests and the events that unfolded, I became very connected to the wider universal feeling of hopelessness.”

BIG BOI & SLEEPY BROWN – “CAN’T SLEEP”
