
2017 Polaris Prize shortlist: Leonard Cohen, Feist, BADBADNOTGOOD & more
Canada's The Polaris Music Prize has whittled down its longlist into its ten-LP shortlist who will vie for the 2017 award. Can anything beat Leonard Cohen's You Want it Darker? Probably not, but other nominees include Feist's Pleasure, Weaves' self-titled debut, previous winner Tanya Tagaq's Retribution, Leif Vollebekk's Twin Solitude, and BADBADNOTGOOD's IV. The Polaris Prize will be awarded at the annual gala in Toronto which takes place this year on September 18.
