CARDI B - "PRESS"

"Cardi don't need more press," Cardi B raps on the followup to last year's still-unstoppable "Money." It's probably true, but as long as she's dropping hard af bangers like this one, we'll just have to keep giving her more press anyway.

SKEPTA - IGNORANCE IS BLISS (ALBUM STREAM)

Skepta follows 2016's Konnichiwa with yet another well-executed full-length. Ignorance Is Bliss has an overall darker tone than its predecessor, and Skepta is as commanding an MC as ever, if not even more so. His raps can be dizzyingly fast, but he never raps fast for fast’s sake. He’s an expert storyteller, and his words are bold, clear, and drill their way into your head on first listen. Read the whole review.

GOLDLINK - "JOKE TING"

DC rapper GoldLink announced a new album, Diaspora, due out June 12. It features his single from earlier this month, "Zulu Screams," as well as a new one he's shared today, "Joke Ting," which features Ari PenSmith.

HOMEBOY SANDMAN - "WEST COAST"

Homeboy Sandman reunited with Aesop Rock (who produced this track) for "West Coast," in celebration of his new multi-album deal with Mello Music Group.

DENZEL CURRY - ZUU (ALBUM STREAM)

Denzel Curry released one of our favorite albums of 2018 with TA13OO, so needless to say we're excited about the news of this quick follow up that comes less than a year later. Denzel hasn’t lost his touch one bit and, if anything, is only making more accessible music now.

TAYLOR BENNETT - "NO ONE OUTSIDE" (FEAT. CHANCE THE RAPPER & BIANCA SHAW)

Chance the Rapper's brother Taylor Bennett put out a new 8-track EP, The American Reject, today. As he told Billboard, it "showcases my views on systematic segregation through my eyes as an openly bi-sexual African American from Chicago Illinois." It includes a guest-spot from his brother, and his label Tay Bennett Entertainment's first signee, fellow Chicagoan Bianca Shaw.
