American Eagle -- the '80s NYC hardcore/Oi! band, not the '70s West Coast Rock band or, um, the preppy clothing company -- announced that they will reunite for this year's Black N' Blue Bowl, the hardcore festival taking place at Webster Hall this weekend (May 16 & 17). They play the first day (Saturday), and it will be their first show in over 25 years. Frontman Sgt. Rock said the following:

We are excited to showcase our reunion at the most respected annual musical event in NYC. We vow to deliver a performance of pure power and impact to our loyal fans of the past and the new ones to follow. We thank BNB Productions for their support and look forward to this incredible weekend!

The fest also includes a Burn reunion, Crumbsuckers, Sick Of It All, Dave Smalley, Madball, Earth Crisis, Candiria, The Rival Mob, Suburban Scum, Turnstile, The Regulators (mems Bad Brains, Cro-Mags) and more.

Get your tickets, and get ready for the show with a HAIRCUT by Suburban Scum guitarist Jeremy Hamilton aka J-Ham The Barber at Hold Fast Barber Shop and Shave Parlor. The old school barber shop, located at 11 Church St in Flemington, NJ, held its grand opening in April. J-Ham is one of two barbers there. Owner Rich the Barber is the other.
