A Perfect Circle

A Perfect Circle confirm first 2017 dates (a fest with Soundgarden, Mastodon, more)

The lineup for two Florida-based heavy rock festivals have been announced. Welcome to Rockville is in Jacksonville and Fort Rock is in Fort Myers, and both fests go down on the same dates (April 29-30) and feature a ton of lineup overlap. Both lineups look a lot like the recently-discussed Rock on the Range festival with a mix of good alternative metal and, well, butt rock. The most notable thing about this lineup however is the inclusion of A Perfect Circle, the Tool/Smashing Pumpkins-related project who haven’t played a show since 2014.

Both festivals also feature Soundgarden, Mastodon, Eagles of Death Metal, In Flames and more, while only Welcome to Rockville features Amon Amarth, Dillinger Escape Plan and Gojira. And this is to say nothing of the likes of Papa Roach, Seether, Three Days Grace, and, funnily enough, Def Leppard. Tickets for both Fort Rock and Welcome to Rockville go on sale Thursday (12/6). Check out the full lineups below.
