A Place to Bury Strangers get remixed by Dave Harrington, expand tour, playing Gigawatts fest & dates w/ Grooms

A Place to Bury Strangers are slaves to the road this year, having toured for most of 2015 so far and will continue to do so. They’ve just announced a fall tour with their old Death By Audio roommates Grooms which concludes here in Brooklyn at Saint Vitus on October 9. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (6/12) at 10 AM.

You can also catch them in NYC before that, as they play the first night of the Gigawatts Festival at The Wick on July 24 with Black Lips, Liturgy and lots more. Tickets for Gigawatts are still available, and we’re also giving away a pair of festival passes. All APTBS dates are listed below.

In other news, the band have given their song “Fill the Void” (from this year’s Transfixiation) to Darkside guitarist Dave Harrington to remix, who strips it down, morphing it into a sinister beast. You can stream that below.
