A Place to Bury Strangers announce remix LP (listen to Slowdive remix)
A Place to Bury Strangers will release Re-Pinned, a remix album, on October 5 via Dead Oceans. They got a stellar group of artists to rework their songs from this year’s Pinned, including Slowdive, Trentemøller, No Age, Metz, and Black Dice’s Eric Copeland. You can stream the Slowdive remix of “Frustrated Operator,” which takes the driving original and drones things up a few feet in the air. Listen, and check out the full Re-Pinned tracklist, below.
The band will play NYC’s En Orbita Festival on July 15 at Le Poisson Rouge with Os Mutantes, Martin Rev, Lee Ranaldo and Yonatan Gat. Tickets are still available but if you’d like to go for free, we’re giving away a pair. To enter fill out the contest form below.
