A Tribe Called Quest releasing final album on November 11

A Tribe Called Quest will release their final album on November 11. The news was shared via a handwritten note Q-Tip posted to his Facebook, saying that the impetus came after their reunion performance on The Tonight Show last November:

I felt the need, we all did, to get back to the studio and start that Cookup!! SO WE GOT TO IT!!

It was coming together nicely and as you may know we lost our BROTHER may GOD REST HIS SOUL on March 22nd.

But he left us with the Blue Print of what we had to do.

The new LP features old pals Busta Rhymes and Consequence and Q-Tip adds “No this isn’t filled with old Phife Bars…This is that Pure, unstepped on Pure!!”
