A Winged Victory For The Sullen share #RSD18 track; Stars of the Lid reissuing 2nd LP

Erased Tapes will be releasing their 1+1=X compilation for Record Store Day in the UK, which features new recordings from many artists on the label’s roster. One of those artists is duo A Winged Victory For The Sullen (aka Adam Wiltzie and Dustin O’Halloran), who recently shared their contribution to the 3XLP comp, “Long May It Sustain.” Just like much of their past work, this new track is properly cinematic, and you can stream it below.

In related news, one of Adam Wiltzie’s other projects, Stars of the Lid, are set to reissue their 1996 sophomore album Gravitational Pull vs. the Desire for an Aquatic Life on March 30 via Kranky. It’s the first time the album will be pressed to vinyl in nearly 20 years, and it follows the 2015 reissues of their albums The Tired Sounds Of and Refinement of the Decline. You can revisit the record in full below.
