A$AP Ferg in Chicago
A$AP Ferg has been on the road with G-Eazy, and that tour hit Chicago over the weekend at Aragon Ballroom on Saturday (1/16). Support came from Marc E. Bassy, Nef the Pharaoh and Marty Grimes. Pictures are in this post.
The tour hits NYC on Saturday (1/23), Sunday (1/24) and Monday (1/25) at Terminal 5. The first two are sold out but tickets for the third are still available. It's in Philly tomorrow and tonight is an off night, which quite possibly means Ferg will join A$AP Rocky and the rest of A$AP Mob to celebrate the life of the late A$AP Yams at Yams Day at Terminal 5 tonight (1/18). Ferg also tweeted, "Today is Yams day through out the world! Even if you can't celebrate with us turn up for him where ever your at!!"
The rest of tonight's lineup includes Joey Bada$$, Flatbush Zombies, A$ton Matthews and Lil Uzi Vert. Rocky and Ferg also celebrated Yams over the weekend when they released the tribute song "Yamborghini High."
Ferg's new album Always Strive and Prosper is due this year, and it presumably features his recent single "New Level" featuring Future, which you can stream below.
Speaking of Nef the Pharaoh, he's planning a mixtape with producer Cardo called Neffy Got Wings, and recently released its lead single "#Saydaat" featuring Philthy Rich. Listen to that below too. He also plays another NYC show before the run with A$AP Ferg, at Just Blaze's weekly House Party at Webster Hall on Thursday (1/21). Tickets are available.
