Aaron Freeman, the man once known as Gene Ween, put out a record with his new band, FREEMAN, last summer showcasing a bunch of tracks reminiscent of the Ween sound. The band toured extensively last fall, and now Freeman has a few solo acoustic shows lined up. He played Asbury Park last night, and will play NYC’s City Winery on March 20. Tickets are on sale now.
