Wonder Years singer Dan Campbell also has a solo project called Aaron West and The Roaring Twenties, and he'll release a new EP and go on tour with that project this year. The EP is called Bittersweet, and first single "67 Cherry Red" has Dan's trademark vocals over rollicking horn-filled folk punk. It's kind of like a more pop punk version of Neutral Milk Hotel or The Mountain Goats, and it works out well. Check out the song below. The EP will be out May 20 via Hopeless.
Dan's tour has direct support from another punk-ish singer/songwriter, Allison Weiss, whose 2015 LP New Love made his top 10 of that year. Can't Swim and Cold Collective will open on all dates as well.
The tour hits NYC on June 1 at The Studio at Webster Hall. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (4/1) at 1 PM. All dates are listed below.
Meanwhile, The Wonder Years are on tour now, and they'll hit Long Island this Sunday (4/3).
