Acrylics releasing new LP 'DADA minor' in September (listen to "Keeper Finder")

Brooklyn duo Acrylics are set to release their second album, ‘DADA minor,’ on September 23 via PaperCup Music. It’s the band’s first album in five years and is a little different for Molly Shea and Jason Klauber who this time draw on film scores and krautrock as part of their melodic repertoire. Album artwork and tracklist are below.

Those influences are felt on the album’s first single “Keeper Finder” which also finds their keen pop songwriting abilities intact. (It’s good to have these two back.) Say Molly and Jason, “The data miner’s gaze is constant like a motorik drum. We hold close the scent memory of youth. A slice of pizza beneath the weeping willow tree. The cheek of a teenage love. Age 14, too shy. The data miner remembers her, too. Keep her, find her, data miner.” That song premieres in this post and you can stream it below.
