
Adventures & Run Forever releasing a split, playing shows

Pittsburgh punks Adventures share three members with Code Orange Kids but favor melodic indie rock-tinged punk over the vicious post-hardcore of their other band. They recently announced that they'll be releasing a split with fellow Pittsburgh band Run Forever, who take a bit of influence from the big, grungy riffs of '90s alt-rock. The split's due out on January 28 via No Sleep, but you can stream one track from each band now, below.
Adventures and Run Forever are also playing a few release shows for the split this month, including one in Brooklyn on February 1 at Suburbia (330 Melrose). That show also includes Pitchfork-approved pop punk band (and Run Forever's Tiny Engines labelmates) The Hotelier (formerly The Hotel Year) and their tourmates osoosooso. That show is $5 at the door.
