Al Green adds Radio City to first tour in 7 years
First, soul legend Al Green released his first new recording in a decade (a soul cover of Freddy Fender’s 1975 country-pop song “Before the Next Teardrop Falls”) and sounded fantastic on it, and then he announced his first tour in seven years, surrounding his appearance at New Orleans Jazz Fest. Now, he has finally added a NYC show his schedule. He’s playing the iconic Radio City Music Hall on May 5 with The War and Treaty opening. Tickets for that show go on sale Friday (2/22) at noon with various presales starting beforehand. All tour dates are listed below.
