Al Green brought his comeback tour to Radio City (pics, videos, setlist)

Soul legend Al Green has been in the midst of a comeback lately. First, he released his first new recording in a decade (a cover of Freddy Fender’s “Before the Next Teardrop Falls”), and then he hit the road for his first tour in seven years, including New Orleans Jazz Fest, a Radio City show last night (5/5), and more.

We caught the Radio City show, which saw Al playing classics like “I’m Still In Love With You,” “Let’s Stay Together,” “Tired of Being Alone,” “Let’s Get Married,” and more. His pipes are still in fine form and he’s still got a lot of that soul in his voice. He was joined by dancers during some songs, and handed out roses to the women in the crowd a few times.
