Alan Cumming's East Village spot Club Cumming has suspended all live music and DJs for the time being, "pending a decision by the State Liquor Authority" Alan announced earlier this week via Instagram. "We are confident this issue will be worked out soon." The New York Post reports that the owners failed to apply for a live music license (a "rookie mistake" they told The Post).

While that all gets worked out, Club Cumming will remain open daily from 6 PM - 4 AM, and non-music events like "Knit at Nite" and "Drink and Draw" will continue. " We thank you for your support while we work on resolving this issue, and ask that if you do stop by the bar, please sign our petition to allow live music."
