Alanis Morissette doing 'Jagged Little Pill' tour with Garbage & Liz Phair
Alanis Morissette is doing her acoustic performance of her ’90s alt-rock classic Jagged Little Pill at Harlem’s historic Apollo Theatre tonight (12/2), and though that acoustic show is “one night only,” she just announced a full-band Jagged Little Pill 25th anniversary tour for 2020. Making it even better, fellow ’90s alt-rockers Garbage and Liz Phair will open (both of whom also toured with Alanis in 1998).
The tour includes NYC-area shows on June 26 at Jones Beach and July 1 at PNC Bank Arts Center. Tickets for the whole tour go on sale Friday, December 13 at 11 AM local with a fan presale starting Tuesday, December 10 at 11 AM local and more presales after that. Lastly, Alanis isn’t just celebrating the anniversary of Jagged Little Pill in 2020. She has a new album called Such Pretty Forks In The Road due May 1 via RCA (pre-order), and you can hear lead single “Reasons I Drink” below.
Liz Phair’s first new album in 10 years is also expected in 2020.
