Chiller Theatre

Alice Cooper playing Psycho Vegas, appearing at NJ's Chiller Theater w/ the Monkees, Cherie Curie, Eddie Munster & MANY MORE

Chiller Theatre is a long-running NJ toy, model and film expo (like a comic con, but not really about comics). It’s going down again this year with an absolute metric ton of interesting guests at the Sheraton Parsippany Hotel in NJ on April 22-24. It features appearances by people from all kinds of different cult-y worlds that vaguely relate to horror. And a lot that don’t. You’ve got wrestlers, porn stars, body-builders, designers, actors from random ’70s TV shows, musicians, really anything you can think of.

They have an insane list of guests this year, (mainly doing autographs and pictures) including musicians like Alice Cooper and his bandmates Dennis Dunaway, Michael Bruce and Kane Roberts, plus Riky Byrd (Joan Jett & more), Chris Farlowe, Bobby Steele (The Undead), The Monkees, The Runaways’ Cherie Currie, Meat Loaf, and “Weird Al” Yankovic. There are reunions of CHiPs and and Rocky Horror Picture Show casts, a mini-Sopranos reunion with actors Dominic Chianese, Aida Turturro and Vincent Pastore, along with appearances from actors like Piper Laurie, Kim Coates, Max Baer Jr (Jethro from Beverly Hillbillies) and Lee Meredith. Other guests include Don Jamieson (from VH1 Classic’s That Metal Show), fantasy/KISS/Manowar artist Ken Kelly, Megadeth and other metal albums artist Ed Repka, iconic Cramps graphic artist Stephen Blickenstaff, Mr. Belding, Willie Aimes, Jonathan Lipnicki, AND SO MANY MORE.

There are also musical performances on Saturday night (4/23)  by Cherie Currie and The Monkees, which should be fun. Tickets for the expo are on sale now. Check out the full, huge lineup of guests here.

And speaking of Alice Cooper, he’s the final headliner at the stacked Psycho Las Vegas fest, and he’s also heading out on tour with his new, Johnny Depp-featuring supergroup Hollywood Vampires.
