Alice Cooper is on tour now, having just swung through the NYC-area for a few nearby shows. One was at the Capitol Theatre on May 10 and pictures of that one are in this post. Alice loaded the set with classics like “No More Mr. Nice Guy,” “Billion Dollar Babies,” “I’m Eighteen,” “School’s Out,” and more. He brought out the ol’ boa constrictor, and he also included his covers of The Who’s “Pinball Wizard,” Jimi Hendrix’s “Fire,” and David Bowie’s “Suffragette City.” Full setlist below.
Alice will be back on tour with his band Hollywood Vampires, which also includes Joe Perry and Johnny Depp. (They record with Duff McKagan, but Stone Temple Pilots’ Robert DeLeo will take his place on the tour.) That tour hits NYC on July 10 at the Amphitheater at Coney Island Boardwalk. Tickets for that show are still available.
Alice also plays the stacked Psycho Las Vegas fest with Electric Wizard, Drive Like Jehu, Sleep, Blue Oyster Cult, Candlemass, and more.
