Alice Glass going on tour with Zola Jesus & Pictureplane (Brooklyn & other shows announced)

Former Crystal Castles singer Alice Glass released a new single, “Cease and Desist,” back in January. It’s distorted electro banger and you can watch the video for that below. While there’s been no word on whether that will be part of a new record, Alice will be going on the “SnowBlood” tour this spring which includes dates with Zola Jesus and Pictureplane. The NYC show happens May 13 at Music Hall of Williamsburg. Tickets for that show go on AmEx presale today at noon with the general on-sale beginning Friday, February 23 at 10 AM.

Other announced dates include Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago and Toronto.

UPDATE: More dates have been announced including a second NYC show on May 17 at Public Arts. Tickets for that one go on sale Thursday (2/22) at 10 AM. All dates are listed in the flyer below.

Zola also announced a new album, Okovi: Additions, which has four previously unreleased tracks from the sessions for last year’s Okovi, and remixes by Johnny Jewel, Katie Gately, Wolves in the Throne Room, and Joanne Pollock (formerly one half of Poemss with Venetian Snares’ Aaron Funk).
