Allah-Las will release new album LAHS on October 11 via Mexican Summer. It was produced by Jarvis Taverniere of Woods and finds them expanding beyond the paisley surf of their previous albums. (Pre-orders are up now.) “We’ve been traveling a lot the past couple years and I think that played a role in influencing the broader variety of songs on this record,” drummer Matt Correia. “LAHS to me feels like a soundtrack to the past 5 years or so. A sort of audio postcard to anyone who wants to listen." You can get a taste via first single "In the Air" and its video which co-stars Kirin J Callinan, is an homage to Weekend at Bernies, and does indeed take to the skies (via helicopter). Watch that below.

You can also catch Allah-Las on tour this year -- they've got August dates in the Midwest and they've just announced an extensive fall tour that kicks off November 4 in Phoenix, heads to the East Coast and back, wrapping up December 14 in Pioneertown, CA.
