Amanda Palmer just released a star-studded new track that she wrote with Brendan Maclean called "On the Door" on her bandcamp. It's a self-described "tongue-in-cheek" dance track that features a number of funny contributors asking Amanda to get on the guest list for a show over eight-minutes of pulsating dance floor beats. It's inspired by a funny tumblr post about touring life by Thor Harris's (with whom Amanda recently played Le Poisson Rouge).

The impressively varied all-star cast that appears on the track includes Sarah Silverman, Eugene Mirman, Patton Oswalt, Ben Folds, Craig Ferguson, Neil Gaiman, Mike Posner and more. It's pretty funny, and you can listen to it below.

Meanwhile, Amanda's Dresden Dolls recently played Coney Island over the past weekend. An industrious videographer uploaded videos from basically the entire set on youtube, and you can check that out below as well.
