Amy Poehler opened a wine store in Park Slope

Amy Poehler is one of the owners of new Park Slope wine store Zula Wines & Spirits that opened at 487 Fifth Ave (between 11th / 12th streets). The store’s other partners are Amy’s old friends and married couple Amy Miles and Michael Robertson, who also are musicians and have collaborated with Craig Wedren on the Wet Hot American Summer soundtracks and other projects. “I enjoy a grüner,” Amy told Eater. “I’m more of a white-wine gal, but honestly, I’ll just drink whatever Mike recommends to me.” Amy spends most of her time in Los Angeles these days, but tells Eater she’ll visit whenever she can. Zula is open seven days a week, has free tastings every night.

Coincidentally, Amy just wrapped up work on her feature film directorial debut, Wine Country, which co-stars her old SNL buddies Tina Fey, Maya Rudolph and Rachel Dratch, and is about a group of longtime friends who go on a trip to Napa for one of their 50th birthdays. The movie, which was made for Netlflix, also features SNL alums Ana Gasteyer and Paula Pell, and Jason Schwartzman. The film was based on a real trip the stars took for Rachel Dratch’s 50th and will be out in 2019, release date TBA.
