Amyl & The Sniffers played "Hertz" on Seth Meyers, announce new NYC show
In between Coachella weekends, Australia’s Amyl & The Sniffers headed to NYC to make their network television debut on Late Night with Seth Meyers, performing “Hertz” off of last year’s terrific Comfort to Me. Singer Amy Taylor was revved up as usual and watching her command the stage delivering sweet romantic lines like “Take me to the beach! Take me to the country! I wantcha to love me!” as if she was a drill sergeant giving orders is a blast. Watch that below.
As Seth Meyers notes in his intro, Amyl & The Sniffers announced a new NYC show that will happen this fall at Terminal 5 on September 23. Tickets are on presale now and go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 22 at 10 AM.
That’s the only fall date at the moment, but more will probably be announced once their spring tour wraps up. That includes a sold-out show at Brooklyn Steel on May 19 (but you can enter to win tickets). All dates are listed below.
Amyl & the Sniffers are also releasing a deluxe edition of Comfort to Me that comes with a bonus disc live performance of the whole album.
