Andrew Bird released 'Are You Serious' (listen) and shares "Capsized" video
In keeping with the day, Andrew Bird‘s his new album Are You Serious is out now (4/1). It’s his first full-length album since 2012’s Break It Yourself, taking his signature violin sound but shifting a bit from folk to hints of classic rock and blues. It also features collaborations with Blake Mills on guitar and Fiona Apple in “Left Handed Kisses”. Stream the LP in full, via NPR, below.
Andrew also shared the video for the current single “Capsized” today. Directed byTyler Manson, it’s a dreamlike video that has Andrew in PJs playing to an empty theatre, among other visions. Watch it below.
As mentioned, he’s currently on tour in support of the newly-released LP, including two NYC shows at Kings Theatre on April 7 and Terminal 5 on April 8. Tickets are still on sale.
