Andrew WK still touring, playing New Year's Eve in NYC, giving a lecture on partying, playing solo 'Grand Piano Parties'

If you’re wondering if Andrew WK ever stops partying, no, he doesn’t. He’s got ‘The Party Bible’ coming out, and there’s still a few European dates left on his tour with Marky Ramone (which hit NYC twice). And now he’s announced a headlining NYC show to happen on one of the biggest party days of the year: New Year’s Eve (12/31) (not his first time). Andrew and his band will ring in the new year at Irving Plaza, and you can probably count on this getting prettttttty crazy. Tickets are on Live Nation and Music Geeks (password: “musicgeeks”) now, and the general on-sale begins Friday (10/18) at 10 AM.

Andrew WK is also giving a lecture on partying (seems kind of contradictory, no?) in Brooklyn on October 29 at Bedford + Bowery Newsroom (155 Grand St), and he’ll be doing a solo “Grand Piano Party” at NYC’s Subculture on November 15 and 16. Tickets for night 1 and night 2 of the Grand Piano Party are on sale now.
