Andy Shauf's Foxwarren share new video ft. Busy Philipps, announce first-ever tour

Foxwarren, the band led by Andy Shauf that includes his lifelong friends Dallas Bryson (guitar/vocals) and brothers Darryl Kissick (bass) and Avery Kissick (drums & percussion), have been together for over 10 years but only released their debut album back in November. If you haven’t checked it out, it’s lovely, lush folk rock and you can stream it below. They’ve just released a video for “Sunset Canyon” which features actress and talk show host Busy Philipps. “‘Sunset Canyon’ is one of my favorite songs from the Foxwarren album and I basically have been making my own music videos to the song since it came out,” says Busy. “Working with [director] Laura-Lynn on the video was so amazing. She is such a talent and I loved the easy going vibe of the day, wandering through the canyon with her in my mom’s dress from the sixties.” You can watch that below.

Meanwhile, Foxwarren have just announced their first-ever tour, which kicks off May 29 in Regina, SK and includes dates in Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, L.A., Wilco’s Solid Sound fest, Detroit, Chicago, Toronto, and more. Currently there’s no NYC show on their schedule but there is a two-day gap between the Philly and Portsmouth, NH shows… maybe something will be announced? All dates are listed below.

Busy Philipps, meanwhile, will be in Austin for the SXSW Comedy Festival.
