This month, the CBS Live on Letterman concert series will be bringing in St. Vincent for a web-broadcasted live performance following her taping on the show on July 16. (The webcast series' July lineup will also showcase David Gray on July 30.) This is one of many notable dates that St. Vincent coming up as she continues to tour in support of this year's St. Vincent, including a free Celebrate Brooklyn set on August 9, a show with Queens of the Stone Age in Maryland, and a prime spot at Pitchfork Fest. Later in the Summer she'll head out on overseas before heading back to the U.S., and then back to Europe again, then back to the U.S. again for some dates with The Black Keys. There's no letup in sight.

In other noteworthy Letterman performance news, Dave brought in Angel Olsen on June 16 and Sam Smith on June 18. Olsen played "Hi-Five" from Burn Your Fire for No Witness, and Smith continued his fast rise with a rousing, large-band rendition of "Stay With Me." Even more recently, The War on Drugs and Kiesza both played in the last week. Flanked by a dance crew and a graffiti-covered set, the Canadian pop songwriter, who will play her first US show at Santos Party House, stopping by last night (July 10) to perform "Hideaway" from her recent EP of the same name. Though she ends her set inside, part of it happens on the street. The War on Drugs were around on July 7 for a rendition of their standout "Red Eyes" from Lost in the Dream replete with ripping guitar work.

And in non-Letterman late night highlights, Sylvan Esso made their network TV debut on Fallon on Wednesday (7/9), where they were joined by Questlove himself, who just can't resist.
