Ani DiFranco tells us what she's listening to on tour (Bon Iver, Tune-Yards, more)

Veteran singer/songwriter Ani DiFranco is on tour now with one of our favorite new singer/songwriters, Haley Heynderickx, and that tour is about to hit Jersey City for a show at White Eagle Hall on Tuesday, 6/12 (tickets). While she’s on the road, we asked Ani what music she’s been listening to on tour, and she sent us a list of twelve songs.

It includes a song by current tourmate Haley Heynderickx, as well as songs by recent tourmates Gracie and Rachel and MILCK, one by Ani’s longtime bassist Todd Sickafoose, one by Peter Mulvey (whose 2017 album was produced by Ani), and songs by Bon Iver and Jenny Schienman, both of whom appeared on Ani’s last album, 2017’s Binary.
