Thrash legends Anthrax and mall-metal champions Killswitch Engage have announced a co-headlining "Killthrax" tour that will take them through several major venues over the course of Spring 2017.

That run features a couple of NYC-area dates. They'll open things in NJ at the Wellmont Theater on March 29. Then towards the end of the tour, they'll hit Long Island at the Paramount on May 5. Tickets for the Wellmont are on LiveNation/Music Geeks/Ticketmaster presale now, and go on sale to the general public Friday (12/16) at 10 AM. Tickets for the Paramount are on Ticketmaster and venue presale now, and go on sale to the general public Friday (12/16) at noon. The whole tour features additional support from pop-metalcore outfit The Devil Wears Prada.

Meanwhile, Anthrax just took part in the NYC-based Epiphone Revolver Music Awards, where they were honored with a "Revolver Innovator Award," and which happened at Webster Hall on December 14. You can actually watch video of the whole thing, which featured performances from Anthrax as well as Megadeth, and was hosted by Dave Mustaine. There were various metal (and not terribly metal) celebrities on hand, like Doyle from the Misfits, Thomas Haake of Meshuggah, Norman Reedus, Nothing, and Ace Frehley, among others.

Check out all tour dates, watch the video of the awards, and check out some instagrams from that event, below.
