Damon Albarn forms a band | the Good The Bad And The Queen
“Damon Albarn has formed a new band, according to reports. The Blur and Gorillaz star is understood to be rehearsing with a group called the Good The Bad And The Queen. Albarn is said to have recruited Paul Simonen, formerly of the Clash, to play bass, along with ex-Verve guitarist and part-time Blur member Simon Tong. Tony Allen, Fela Kuti’s drummer, is also in the band, who will release their debut single in October, claim this month’s Mojo magazine.” [Yahoo News]
