Patti Smith playing final CBGB show? In October?

At first I thought maybe the new date CBGB has listed for the Agnostic Front show was a mistake – it went from September 24th to October 1st (one day after the previously announced closing date of September 30th). An article on Pollstar seems to back this up though: “A team of ‘experts’ will remove the bars, toilets, etc. in late October after a final gig with Patti Smith, Kristal said.”

So far the “downstairs lounge” show on September 30th is still listed as “closing night”. Who knows.
